Oryx Bonded Projectiles
Since the introduction of Oryx in 1996, it has become the top of the Norma line. All over the world, it has won acclaim for its performance.

To perform in varied hunting situations Oryx is designed with a core bonded to the jacket. The bullet still expands rapidly, but the bonding prevents a separation of the jacket from the core. This weight retention allows the bullet to penetrate deep for reliable results on more demanding shots.
The Oryx is unsurpassed in its design. Originally developed for European game such as deer, moose, wild boar and black bear, it is also eminently suitable for all Australian big game where reliable expansion and weight retention is paramount.

This expanded .30-06 calibre Oryx bullet was removed from a 350kg bull moose. The bullet hit the ribs and lungs yet retained 96% of its original weight thanks to the superior adhesion between jacket and core.

A ground down Oryx bullet can withstand being twisted 90 degrees without any signs of seperation as shown.
