TOZ


The construction of the Tula armoury began on February 15, 1712 after Peter the First's decree. By the end of the 18th century the names of remarkable gunsmiths became well-known, among them Ivan Pushkin and Ilya Lyalin. In 1902 the plant went over to fully mechanized in-line production. Between 1961 and 1982 the Tula Arms Plant received orders for production of the world renouned Kalashnikov.
